About Us

Safe Passage Training & Consulting, LLC (SPTC, LLC) was created out of a personal mission to see every person traveling on the road reach their destination safely. The President and founder, Brent Daniels, is a retired North Carolina State Trooper, who remains dedicated to reducing traffic collisions through the promotion of safe driving practices and proper vehicle maintenance.

SPTC, LLC was formed to maintain existing and create new partnerships within the supply chain community, where traffic safety and asset protection intersect. We support the mission to collectively reduce cargo theft on a global scale. Brent serves on the Law Enforcement committee for the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA Americas).

Brent has extensive experience as a State Trooper and completed his career while assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement section. There, he served as a Field Training Inspector and Traffic Safety Presenter to Motor Carriers, as well as Supply Chain Professionals. Brent is passionate about training and coaching others to be the best in their profession. Brent has completed in excess of 4,000 CVSA roadside inspections (Levels 1-5) in his career. He has also completed over 70 safety and security presentations, carrying this mission forward.
